Love is the first word in our lives and also the last. We experience all kinds of love throughout our lives – romantic love, brotherly or sisterly love, parental love – but ultimately we all desire to be in divine love: love without a reason and without any boundaries or conditions. One of the simplest ways to achieve this stage of love is through mindful eating. When we eat mindfully, we nourish our bodies, minds and souls. At the same time, we attract love and kindness into our lives. Use mindful eating to unlock unlimited love.


1. Eat with respect

How much time do you usually take to finish a meal? Instead of wolfing down food, chew and experience the real taste. The taste of respect. Respect the people, the effort, the nature behind it. Respect the origins of where the food has come from. When we truly appreciate what we are eating, we attract the same quality of respect and love we deserve in our lives.


2. Eat with presence

The correct way to eat was demonstrated by our ancestors. To eat without electronic devices, including mobile phones, televisions and computers. Being present while eating means treating the meal as a sacred one, as if it is your last meal in life. Focus on connecting with yourself with every bite. Open up all your senses: taste, smell, touch, sound, vision and, most importantly, how you feel. Unblock your heart to truly taste and feel, then feel the love inside that you are longing for.


3. Eat to give

Be the one to start experiencing mindful eating. Show up, practise and be the example. Be the one who is known, the witness to it all. Share your experience and inspire others to connect back with themselves like you do. Keep the snowball rolling, and the more you give with love, the more love will give you back in life.
