New Spanish spots may have come and gone these past few years, but FoFo remains our top choice for fine Spanish dining in the Fong. The founder (Willy Trullas Moreno) and head chef (Alex Fargas), both natives of Barcelona, have created a space and menu that mix tradition and innovation to a T. The mostly all-white dining room (dotted with charming chubby penguin and pig sculptures throughout) and rooftop terrace are seriously Euro-chic, and we can’t get enough of Chef Fargas’ signature tapas and “inspired rice” dishes; the crispy suckling pig with baby confit potatoes, onion and black truffle cake is a triumph.
