People who love raclette are the type of people you want to know. They're also the type who gather on a Wednesday evening at one of Hong Kong's most low-key, exhilarating French restaurants in SoHo. Cochin, directed by Chef Renaud Marin, will be hosting a Fundraising Raclette evening on Wednesday, 18 January to raise money for Sunrise Cambodia, an NGO that focuses on community development in that country.

In collaboration with Lacoste's travel retail director, Erin Lillis, the event intends to unite the pursuit of cheese consumption with a great cause: renovating and equipping two classrooms and a computer room in Sunrise's Siem Reap learning centre.

Eating warm cheese on a winter's evening while simultaneously raising money for a noble initiative – it's fairly simple, with such an inspiring community-awareness initiative doing everyone good.

Where: Cochin (26 Peel Street, SoHo, Central)

When: Wednesday, 18 January, 6:30–10pm
