This is a photo from a film, which according to the Copyright Ordinance in Hong Kong, was based on the death of the director, screenwriter and composer. The director of the film, who was the last surviving among three, died in 2000. Hence, the photo was still copyright in Hong Kong until 2050 and in the US until 2045. - @Billytanghh: : Are you certain this is a still image taken directly from the film? What if it's a photo taken by anonymous on-set photographer? —howcheng {chat} 22:49, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
- Still fails under URAA as there was still copyright in Hong Kong on January 1, 1996.--Billytanghh (talk) 23:30, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
Deleted: OK, you sold me. Sadly, this appears it will be under copyright in the U.S. until 2045, whether it was a frame from the film or a photograph by an unknown person. —howcheng {chat} 16:10, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
