Finding a spot to eat that both parents and kids will enjoy can be a tricky task. That’s why Mayfare Restaurants has introduced brand-new weekend brunch menus at all three of their fabulous restaurants, catering to both adults and little ones.
On top of the brunch specials, each restaurant is offering a free-flow package (+$138) that includes two hours of all-you-can-drink house wine, beer, Prosecco and spirits.
Gaylord Indian Restaurant
One of Hong Kong’s oldest Indian restaurants and winner of the Foodie Forks 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award, Gaylord is a stalwart of authentic Indian cuisine. Their new Sunday brunch buffet ($188/adult; $98/child) features favourites such as veggie samosas, Patiala prawns, chicken tikka, dal makhani, Goan fish curry and more, all served alongside assorted Indian breads (give the truffle cheese naan a try). End the meal with traditional sweets likes jalebi and gulab jamun. Each brunch set comes with a glass of beer or wine or a mango lassi and coffee or masala tea.

Gunpowder Indian RestoBar
Showcasing a more modern approach to Indian cuisine, the new Gunpowder weekend brunch menu ($228/adult; $138/child) includes a choice of three starters, one main, one dessert, coffee or masala tea and a glass of beer, wine or mocktail (or juice for the little ones). To start, we highly recommend the paneer and rosemary lamb goli. For mains, the sarson ka saag makki roti or lamb rogan josh are sure to satisfy, while kids will love the penne butter chicken. Finishing on a sweet note, the gulab jamun panna cotta is something truly unique.

Namo Avant Thai
For a brunch that’s full of colour and flavour (and lovely harbour views), Namo Avant Thai is where it’s at. The weekend brunch menu ($228/adult; $138/child) includes coffee or tea and a glass of beer, wine or mocktail alongside a range of Thai treats. Choose between delectable starters such as shrimp cakes, pork neck and – our favourite – chicken charm. For mains, the soft-shell crab in red curry and silken salmon are absolutely delicious, while you can also never go wrong with classic pad thai. Of course, no Thai meal would be complete without some mango sticky rice for dessert!
