An immersive gastronomic experience kicks off on Friday, 6 August at wildly popular modern Indian restaurant CHAAT at the swanky Rosewood hotel.
Ever-jovial Chef de Cuisine Manav Tuli will host a series of curry-centric lunches ($1,098/person) on the first and second Fridays of each month, taking diners on an educational (and mouth-watering) tour of various regional Indian curries. The first exploratory menu this August will feature six regional curries from across India, with lamb as the featured ingredient.
Guests will begin with welcome cocktails before whetting their appetite with the restaurant's signature raj kachori baked jackfruit samosas. Three varieties of wine will accompany the vibrantly spiced curries.
Included on the inaugural menu are delectable lamb curries the likes of rogan josh, Champaran mutton, kosha mangsho, laal maas, Malabar lamb korma and salli boti. A mountain of carbs, ranging from rice to naan, will be served to help to soak up the rich, flavourful curries, and raita and an onion salad will add even more aromatics to the feast. Guests will also be gifted with a selection of homemade Indian desserts as a takeaway reminder of this incredible dining experience.
