Hong Kong’s award-winning gin distillery Two Moons Distillery has released its new gin flavour – calamansi — making its launch appearance at Quinary alongside a limited-time cocktail menu by Antonio Lai and the bar team.
Themed #findingcalamansi, the collaboration is set to a botanical backdrop, showcasing three cocktails inspired by the two brands’ mutual love for adventure and discovery. These drinks will be available throughout June to freshen you up amidst the sweltering summer heat.
Two Moons calamansi gin is a new addition to the distillery’s signature dry gin line, highlighting calamansi, a tiny citrus fruit with a distinctive tart sweetness and a bright, zesty flavour.
Creating new gin flavours using local ingredients is not new territory for Two Moons. They have previously collaborated with Quinary to create a five-herb tea-flavoured gin, in a trend that is sure to continue.

Taking inspiration from the cardinal directions – north, south, east and west – enter the realm of Two Moons. First head to the East Ends ($130), a lush jungle dotted with calamansi, during the summer season.
Next, venture out into the South Seas ($160). Take in the ocean breeze as you walk amidst the towering wooden crates of fresh calamansi and yuzu by the harbour and sip on a blend of sea salt and fragrant citrus, creating a refreshing, umami experience.
Finally, let the West Wind ($160) allow sweet vanilla “air” to weave through Two Moons calamansi gin, along with the fruity, floral scents of melon and bergamot.
Designed by florist Tom Wong, the shopfront is adorned with exotic flora and fauna to highlight the explorer theme, with a Two Moons Distillery light box making an obligatory photo checkpoint for gin enthusiasts.
Prizes to win
Guests can also try their luck with the capsule machine at the door upon ordering any two of the calamansi gin cocktails. Prizes include:
- Grand prize: Full Moon masterclass & drinks (3 winners)
- Second prize: bottle of Two Moons calamansi gin (700ml), valued at $530 (3 winners)

To celebrate the full moon that falls on the fourth week of June, grand prize winners plus their guests will be summoned by the “high mystic energies” to attend a Full Moon afternoon masterclass on Saturday, 26 June, led by Ivan Chang and Dimple Yuen of Two Moons Distillery. Winners will have the opportunity to savour this new summer gin flavour under the guidance of the expert distillers themselves whilst also sampling an exclusive tipple shaken up by Antonio Lai.
