Brought to you by Riesling Weeks Hong Kong, Vinothek Berlin is the first German wine experience pop-up store in Hong Kong, featuring a wide selection of fine German wine, delicacies and lifestyle products. Come experience wine, art and fashion in the heart of Causeway Bay!

Travel to Germany without leaving Hong Kong

Vinothek Berlin is decorated with cool Berlin street art, ideal for shoppers to take the perfect Instagram photo.

Those who miss travelling can experience a 360º virtual bike tour around German cities and the countryside, plus the challenge of mountain bike riding for an adrenaline rush courtesy of the German National Tourist Board. Viewers just need to sit tight to enjoy the ride.

Guided German wine tasting

Learn and discover the styles of German wines with a wine professional through a guided tasting of six wines. There are four themes to choose from:

  • The many faces of Riesling
  • Dry Riesling – not all Riesling is sweet
  • German white wine, beyond Riesling
  • German red wine

The tasting package ($320/person) includes a limited-edition stainless-steel Riesling glass and a Vinothek Berlin by Riesling Weeks tote bag (Riesling or Pinot Noir). Book in advance here.

Food worth sharing

The pop-up also offers a selection of authentic German deli items, including ham, cheese and pâté flown in directly from Germany, ideal to go with the 90 different wines available for purchase.

Enhanced tasting experience

To suit every drinking occasion, the shop features renowned Liebherr wine cabinets and Zwiesel wine glasses from Germany for serious drinkers, as well as limited-edition Riesling glasses and cooler bags for outdoor activities.

Enjoy green living

Vinthek Berlin has collaborated with St James’ Settlement Upcycling Centre, the first organisation that integrates rehabbers, designers, schools, corporations and the public to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle. Coasters and wine bags made from recycled materials, including wooden wine boxes, fabrics and plastics, will be available for purchase. Wine lovers can enjoy German wine and green living at the same time.

HK design

And while browsing German wine, why not pick up a locally designed Nottoo bag, known for its practical and pleasing aesthetic? Its circular "goodlook” bag and elephant charm are simple in style and playful in colour, bringing joy to daily matching.

Wine and dine at Fashion Walk

Two restaurants at Fashion Walk are presenting discerning diners a taste of Germany with their creations. Little Bao, a Chinese bao joint on Kingston Street run by Chef May Chow that serves up quality comfort food, is offering a half-price discount on its selection of four German wines by the glass when ordering selected dishes.

At Cleveland Street, from 18 June onwards, popular American seafood chain Red Lobster will serve its newly created fusion pineapple bun made with fresh lobster to pair with a refreshing, fruity Riesling.
