Whether you’re staying in or going out, celebrate that special someone with these delicious eats and treats. You deserve it!

Dining especially for Valentine’s Day – in & out

Arbor

It’s not often we can enjoy two-Michelin-starred fine dining at home, so we’re very excited about Arbor’s Arbor at Home takeaway menu ($1,688/person) this Valentine’s Day, available for pickup on 13–14 February. The eight-course menu by Chef Eric Räty features seasonal produce sourced mainly from Japan, including eel, Mochida tomato, tuna, lobster, pigeon, Wagyu beef and strawberries. It comes with simple reheating and plating instructions, so you can take all the credit! Order 48 hours in advance, to be collected by 4:30pm. WhatsApp 5695 8471 or email reservations@arbor-hk.com to order. Delivery is also available to HK Island and Kowloon for a fee.

Chachawan

Spice things up on the 12th–14th with some authentic Isaan Thai flavours at reliable Foodie fave Chachawan. The eatery’s popular à-la-carte dishes are available as usual (we especially recommend the gai yang, or grilled chicken thigh, any of the larp or green papaya salads and the pla phao glua, or whole salt-crusted sea bass), but these can be complemented by a special Valentine’s cocktail called the Thaitini rose martini ($98). Each couple will also be gifted with a heart-shaped mango sticky rice on the house – bless!

COBO HOUSE

COBO HOUSE

COBO HOUSE presents a two-day limited-edition offering of its Chapter 8 – Ocean Duet ($1,380/person) for a romantic celebration this Valentine’s Day, featuring four highlight dishes of lobster, abalone, honey cake and red date truffle chocolate. This eighth instalment of the restaurant’s Knife & Fork Series, focusing on ingredient-driven “chapters”, is available on 13 and 14 February for lunch between 12–3pm.

Start off with a selection of sharing tapas (we love the sound of the pan-seared scallop topped with cauliflower cream, jamón de cebo and truffle), followed by a paella course, a main of seared duck breast with persimmon and chocolate mousse with almond crumble and passion fruit for postre.

Pane e Latte

Pane e Latte, Pirata Group’s seaside Italian bakery and café in Stanley, is pretty charming any day of the year, but this Valentine’s Day, they’ve upped the romance factor by offering a very special Lover’s Croissant Bomboloni ($42) that includes – for one lucky diner on the 14th, that is – a whopper of an 18K white gold diamond ring from EMPHASIS nestled within. The ring is valued at a cool $14,000 – will she say, “I do”?
